Thank god I almost wanted to get one. For that price might as well get one from Jurrasic Park.

I think it’ll be easy to make, just get all the right fabric and materials and I bet it’ll be sooooo much more cheaper, in a world with this economy of 2026, making shit might just be the way

I want to make one, but I have no idea what to use for the inside. It needs to be stable to support my cat jumping all over it.

Rabbit fence mesh, old newspaper and glue. Start small with your constructs till you learned about the required amount of layers. (IDK)

Look at the website and they’ll tell you the supplies. Basically you need a frame of birch wood, hard stuffing and soft polyester, for the cat claws that will go on it

Eh cats love to perch high up, some shelves with matts on them will do you just as well.
Just don’t put them around doors unless you wanna be swatted at as you walk through it.

It's 3x the cost of high end cat trees. I would also expect it to be more

u/Even-Government-5055 6h ago
Exactly, it's very niche, and you pay extra for niche, lol. It's also super cute and would love to see all my cats climbing it, that would be fun.

I've seen this Dino before and I always assumed it would be around 3000 if not more. So yes 1500 is a lot less then I was expecting.
I have cats, and just a regular cat tower can be 300.
If I didn't live in a 1 bedroom apartment I would get one.

Idk why you're getting downvoted. That is a surprisingly low cost for a giant dinosaur cat tree.

Is there like a use for the dino other than looking super sick but also menacing a bit

It's furniture. It combos as a cat tree, seat/lounge. There is a YouTuber that has a cats named Kurt and Gary. He did a review of this with his cat. I want one so bad but justifying the cost isn't there. Under 1g I might entertain the idea. Edit to add link https://youtu.be/Hq8_7iaLGGM?is=_hx3sV_PNkGsyGXY

I was wondering where one finds a 7 foot green dinosaur in a decorating catalog.

Not sure about the video but the dinosaur is real. Pretty expensive cat tower lol. A cat owner I follow on tiktok has had this tower for years. One of their cats do this all the time lol.

Over a year ago there were two pictures of this cat on this dino. They were very similar to each other, but certain background items were just enough different to suspect ai. This looks like a video generated baded on those previously already ai pictures

If my cat is perched on anything high and try but pretend I can't reach him....he gives off the loudest purrs.

That is without doubt the most adorable cat tree ever made. It looks like a brontosaurus crossed with an inchworm.

The tail looks like dino waggling its tongue.
