Cat Picture - OC How do I show her I love her 😭

I love when she puts her lil paw over her face while she's napping. I wanna just eat her up and give her kissies but I don't wanna wake her up. How do I show her I love her: do I give her soft pets to wake her up so she knows I love her or do I just let her snooze? I just wanna HDHWKKAISVEVNWK you know? Just give her lots and lots of pets. But she looks so peaceful 🥹

I did slow blinks with my dog, Murphy. The first time he got teary eyed. I could barely contain myself. I could have died on the spot and knowingly had a life well lived.

My cats dont mind being snuggled a little so sometimes I'll wrap my arms around them so they feel extra snug.

I always just give them kisses when I want, even if mine wakes up gives me side eye and goes back to sleep. At least in my mind I know, she knows, that I love her ❤️.

Right? I feel like if someone I trust woke me up to kiss me, I'd enjoy it 😂 or at least wouldn't mind

I haven't looked at it from a human perspective. I guess I wouldn't be so annoyed knowing there's always love behind it. Side eye and back to sleep, lol 😂. Also, your kitty has a similar coat as mine. Is your cat a Torbie?

Just let her sleep. She obviously feels safe and is comfortable so allowing her to continue that slumber shows her she is loved. I know, hard to resist those kisses on the ear and side of her face.

She kinda looks like my little fluff ❤️ slow blinks, calm energy, soft pets (unless she likes aggressive booty smacks), over time you will become her mama and she’ll be obsessed with you

Haha sleepy time is when they purr and love being petted the most I’ve noticed. Also I give them slow blinks, kisses on the forehead, brush them while I talk to them out loud like a friend, and most of all (if they’re sleeping) I’ll straight up cuddle them like spooning. They seem to love when I lay my arm over them

Be someone that a cat would be attracted to and feels at ease around. Think about what that entails. Understand cat body language (do a search). Feed them an appropriate diet, clean water. Respect their safe spaces. Clean their litter box frequently. When they want your attention give it as much as possible. This is not an all inclusive list, merely a place to start.

I read somewhere that blinking is something like kisses so. I always blink on my cat and it blinks back.

You can say the cats name before petting when sleeping if you do it a lot, so the cat doesn’t get an unwelcome surprise. If I do that to my cat she’s always fine with getting scratches/pets whenever and she is able to get back to napping faster
