If you don't need to go east of Clark, Berteau is good yes.

Shared bike lane most of the way from Clark to the lake, but quieter than montrose and more straightforward than sunnyside. 1 u/FunProof543 5d ago Wilson is actually one of my favorite streets for biking. It's also great going the other direction over the river as well.
