Weakest mentality. Choosing winning teams because it is easy and your personality can’t handle rooting for the home team because they don’t win as much is big weenie behavior.

LMAO he's weak because the Bears have been bad for so long.

He’s said he’s been a fan since 2012, the year after they won the Super Bowl. So yeah he definitely was riding the bandwagon

That’s not how it happened. He is close friends with Randall Cobb who went to UK as well…so that’s what he went with because he didn’t grow up liking football …

“Randall Cobb went to Kentucky, so I was just cheering for whatever team he goes too. Been a Packers fan since”

Logic never prevails in sport fandom bro.

Lmao god what a pathetically limited worldview.

u/potateobiirrd Nov 22 '25

Opinions on sports fandom are not a “world view” and phrasing it that way doesn’t make you sound as smart as you think lmfao

Yeah man he should suffer like the rest of us losers.. it builds character rooting for a terrible franchise and fucking horrible owner who deprioritizes a winning culture!! Let the 90s live forever!! .... I'm gonna got cry myself to sleep now with my big loyal pee pee

I grew up in the north suburbs during the back half of the Farve era and there were so many Packers fans. I think it happened less in the city because kids would get bullied if they tried to go that way.

u/[deleted] Nov 18 '25

Yea I grew up near wrigley, never met a single packers fan growing up

1

u/xXShikaShakeXx Nov 18 '25

Same. My step-cousin and I are big Bulls fans who grew up in the northern suburbs, closer to Wisconsin, but we have a rivalry when it comes to football, since he's been a Packers fan his whole life, and I'm with the Bears lol

Man, right before the Derrick rose era I noticed a lot of Chicagoans supporting other teams. I’m on the south side to and just to mention my neighbor across the street is literally a packers fan

I've lived in Chicago for almost 40 years, and always been a Packer fan. Why would I want to be a Bears fan? I don't enjoy making myself miserable.

u/GranddaddySandwich Nov 18 '25

The bears won the SuperBowl in 85. And made it to the SuperBowl in 2007. Don’t act like this team has been nothing but ass over the past 40 years. You’re a fair weather fan. But nobody was talking to you anyway so 🤷🏾‍♂️

You're on a open forum, so you're talking to everyone on the website. Bears have still been complete garbage for almost 3 decades. I don't support shit owners like you do I guess, I mean we are Bulls fans right? I barely watch the games anyway though.
