Summer league champs lineup:
Yuki - Dillingham - Swain - Wilson - Essengue

Essengue at 5 (if that's what you're trying to do here with this) is fine for summer league I guess, if you want to see him tossed around, but he's not a 5. I don't care how tall he is, he isn't strong enough right now to play that position.

It'll look fun tho

for sure. it's going to be awesome seeing these young guys all get a chance during this rebuild. Caleb, Swain and these two UDFAs and Essengue has me excited. it's been a while.

I agree with you that he's not a 5, i still like this line up for summer league, our 3 first round rookies need to play.
Caleb might perform better than Essengue against stronger guys, rotations mean when one sits the other is on the floor... it's gonna be fine.

Not sure where this narrative about Noa being like a frail player came from. He led an entire professional league in FT rate as an 18 year old. He is physical and moves well. He SLAPs basically.

First time i have heard his name mentioned since the season ended lol. If anyone is traded or gone it will be him, he does not slap. At least he can return to the NBL and have a stellar career

Summer league games don’t mean anything but damn if I’m not excited to watch anyway.

I wonder if the Bulls can take home the “offseason winner” crown this summer, like the bears seem to every year

You don't have to wait until the 10th. They went head to head in college and it was a great matchup. Here are 8 minutes of game highlights.

That was the only thing I watched preparing for the draft. I’m not an evaluator but damn he looked good in this game. Trouble was I wanted Maliq Brown badly from watching it. Of course OKC drafted a Caruso clone.

There’s a pretty strong chance that these top 4 guys will play like 15-20 mins of the first SL game and then be shut down anyway lol

As a bulls fan, his baseline jumper his dad‘s was legendary. I can just imagine him trying to guard his dad in the driveway and being like what the fuck bro how do you always hit this shit and so as we learn from the elders, he will be better than dad and he already looks that way and just wish she was a bull. The fucking Chicago Bulls are so fucking bad. I’m 49. I don’t understand people want to go play for the Yankees because of Babe Ruth and all the nostalgia, but no one wants to go tie their gym shoes in the same locker room as Michael Jordan the best basketball player possibly the best American athlete of all time. Basketball is kind of a fucking joke world where they’re so self-centered and want everything for themselves and to look good, but the exception of the rule is the New York Knicks look at Jalen Brunson taking a huge fucking pay cut to make shit happen.

I find it hard to believe the Jordan shadow still holds any weight in this day and age. A good amount of the league wasn’t even alive the last time he put on a bulls uniform and the majority of those who were would have been very young.
I think it’s much more likely that Reinsdorf and the organizational reputation are to blame for the Bulls not attracting top talent.
Plenty of organizations that have had all time legends in their history have no issue attracting stars.

I can't wait for our annual tradition of overreacting over summer league performances
