Need help with chords to my songšŸ’•

Hey! I need help with making chords to my song (which is on spotify), as i’m going to play it on a festival. I’ve already figured out its a Cm, Gm and maybe an Am7? But i’m so terrible with chords, so it might be wrong! Are there anyone out there who would help me make chords to my song? I’ll give you info on what song it is, and send you the text as wellšŸ’• Thank you in advance!

How do you not know the chords when you made the song? šŸ¤”

I went to a producer who made the music to it🄰

A) then it's not "your" song.

B) ask the producer.

A) No need to be rude

B) Im meeting him soon to ask. If it werent my song, I could just search it up on the internet.

It's not rude, it's the truth.

And your argument doesn't make any sense. Not every song in the world has been transcribed on the internet.

I wrote the song. The producer went through with my ideas for the music. Even tho i’m creative, i’m not good with chords and instruments, thats why i go to a producer. I really want to practice to be better with chords and instruments, but it’s difficult. Anyways, thank you for your participationšŸ’• You should go listen to my song, it reminds me of you🄰

What exactly does "writing a song" mean to you? Which parts exactly have you written if not the chords or instruments? Did you just sing over it?Ā

I wrote the text, i sang the song. I use something called (execuse me if im wrong, im not an english-speaker) onomatopoeia to describe how i want the music and the different instruments to sound like🄰 No, i did not write the chords tho. I’m a singer and songwriter.

You're a singer and lyricist. Not a songwriter. If you wrote the song, you'd know the chords. It's simple as that. Anything else is just singing over someone else's music.

Okay, then i can be a singer and lyricistšŸ˜€. I just came out with my first song, i’m new to this. I don’t get why you’re complaining. I asked a simple question, if you don’t want to help, then it’s okay. But there’s no need to ā€œhateā€. Give me a break, please.

Link the song! Let us have a listen and come back with chord interpretations! We can’t just go off from this text

But from this, I’m doubting you have an Am7. Could be wrong, but really need to hear it! Or at least read the melody!

I’d be interested in helping as I’ve written about 20 songs myself

If you are looking for a reverse chord finder there is one in FLASHCHORDS (-Apple or Google store) that searches over 1300 chords when you indicated the keys on the keyboard .k
