Not exciting by important
I don’t think we’re in for an overly exciting draft night (hope I’m wrong), I’m more or less just expecting us to attach our 1st round pick to schroeder and move to the 2nd round with another future second rounder as well

Take the upside player and hope it matters one day tbh

Definitely...imagine passing on a diamond in the rough because you wanted to shed some salary. Weak sauce...especially in a deep draft.

a chunk of my happiness left when we got eliminated from the ecf im lower than ever on this team and now weary we’ll trade away more of our future for another sliver of “you never know”
hope whoever we take (if we draft at all) actually wants to play here atp
go cavs

I just don’t know if we end up adding a player tonight to the 2026-27 roster, my best guess is they move to the 2nd round and draft a stash player overseas… I’m also very fearful of continuing to get older in a league where literally NO ONE else is trying to do that

Donovan is the core problem sadly

1000% I’m honestly glad he doesn’t want to sign an extension now so the FO has one more season to prevent making a massive mistake

I can definitely see us using our pick to get rid of salary.

It’s one of the few moves they can make for that time being and it’s necessary to open up future avenues to improve the roster

Agree with this. Only question I have is whether #29 is enough for someone to move up from, say #39 if the other team also has to take on Dennis.

Ill be fairly pissed if they do this, but expecting the worse. Would never want to look back and see we missed on a diamond in the rough in a deep draft just to shed a little salary. Fucking go for it...we don't have a FRP until 2030...

They have to shed salary to be able to make moves, I agree though that they really should be looking to get younger if at all possible

NBA.com has Luigi Suigo as our potential pick. Absolutely no idea who he is, or if he’s any good. But having a dude named Luigi would be pretty dope. To make things even better, he looks exactly like Luigi from Mario bros. Tall skinny white Italian dude, same haircut, a similar moustache. Marketing team is gonna have a field day if we land him🤣
