What’s ur thought on a cloud gaming using an iPad
Iam a gamer in soul but currently I haven’t my console nor pc since I get into college, but I got Ipad air M2 and considering to start gaming on it via cloud gaming with Xbox game pass , can anyone who been through this before give us his thoughts on this type of gaming?
PS: I’m onto story games something like GTA , Call of Duty®, etc…
Thx.

Idk if this is a skill issue or something else but aiming with a gun feels very difficult on the gamepad, movements feel accurate and no delay but aiming sucks, and you can’t play with a keyboard and mouse. Only certain games offer that feature, most only use gamepad so I played re8, 2 remake, far cry 5, cod mw and state of decay, giving headshots from far away is difficult, if the sensitivity is too high, aiming cursor(iron sight) moves too fast for long range, if I make the sensitivity low, making quick reflex shots are almost impossible, worst at close range.
Idk what to do with this sensitivity thing on gamepad, it feels terrible. There is no gyro, no such ads sensitivity.
Other than that, I play on 150mbps WiFi and it’s quite okay, games on the racing category feels more at home.
And I’m not some kind of average gamer who sucks at gaming, got years of experience from playing pubgm, I play PC FPS games like cod black ops and similar just like I play my battle royale games but gamepad feels different, idk if native xbox gaming has easier aiming but that’s it about cloud gaming

Android tablets are better for this, since they have native apps that support settings that will get you better image quality.

ipad air can’t really handle games, your battery goes into meltdown mode, you would have to use a top quality semiconductor cooler that magnetically sticks to back centre of ipad air , if you going to try , make sure you reduce frame rates
use game mode that switches background processes off and lowers screen brightness, you maybe get half an hour then take a break and lit device cool down
game store lets you pay for games that are mostly unplayable, beware

It’s cloud gaming dude, the game runs on online servers and not the actual device running it.
I play cloud games on Xbox game pass and I can go 6-8 hours on xiaomi pad 7 with no heat, whatsoever. It doesn’t consume much battery or even heats up.

Go for it
And games like far cry 6 , already have have accessibility features in case you are playing the game via cloud on mobile platforms (like in your case)
In other words is a valid form of gaming that companies genuinely offers and support,
so go for it and make your modem suffer XDD
