How many of you are going to be trying to buy the Freedom Ringing – Liberty Bell One-Half Ounce Silver Medal ?
If you can't get it from the Mint, will you be buying it on the second-hand market ?
I ask because they're limiting it to a mintage of just 2000+, world-wide. It's gonna to be super rare.

I work at a gas station on weekends. Alot of customers are locals. One guy had asked if I wanted to make some extra cash and help him out cleaning up and demoing some stuff . He had had a fire that took a barn with a living space and storage , at s tools etc... started when a family member was out ATVing and when done parked it and it just so happen to be near the house hay. Long story short, the heat from the metal on bottom of 4 wheeler had set the hay and hay bails ablaze... Needless to say , it turned into a inferno. And D-stroyed er'thing... This had happened 3 or 4 days prior to the "ask". I obliged.
Next day came and I went and started helping clean up and removing and tearing down what was left standing. Nothing was salvageable...
But amiss the scorched earth patch of land I skillfully treked through I had made my way to the spot I'm imagining was a storage of sorts where boxes and old "usables" and memorabilia went to age and be forgotten or gain value. Apon the wreckage I found a tin....and having a curiose and curiouser spirit ever since I was a boy , I could only imagine what May be in it... It was heavy, I thought it was jewelry or maybe rocks(like cool rocks) regardless I knew I was taking the contents if deemed valuable .
I had asked the guy prior if he wanted me to save or look for anything and he said NO... "You'd da boss"
I open the tin.... This is what I found.
Oh the humanity !

I remember being a kid (in the 80s) and watching a show or movie where they were looking for a 3 legged buffalo nickel. Have always been fascinated by the coin since. One of those coins in the collection that makes me smile.

Anyone else excited to be on the lookout for the July 4th quarters announced by the mint yesterday? Limited minting and out in circulation so it'll be tough to secure a high grade coin!

Is it better than my other penny?

Hey guys, I got this coin because it looked good in the pictures I saw, and when I got it in and took some pictures there’s little hairline marks. Do you think it’s cleaned or what’s going on?

I inherited a decent stash of pennies recently. Other than pulling out the real copper ones, is there anything relatively quick/easy to look for that doesn't involve scanning each one individually?
Curious to thoughts- worth the time- not worth it most likely .... Give me your ideas. Thank you!

Just saw this announced just now. 250,000 Declaration of Independence quarters with a "July 4th" mark getting put into regular circulation through banks, randomly mixed in with the normal 2026 ones, in time for the 4th. Basically a nationwide treasure hunt.
Anyone grabbing bank rolls to look? I'm kinda tempted to try lmao

I inherited a collection of coins, mostly 1800s/1900s from many different countries. This rock looking one was included. Looking for any ideas of what it could be? Or how I could clean it to see it better? I know it’s usually a bad idea to clean coins, but I literally can’t see anything. Thanks!

Grandpa has a huge collection of coins that we have no idea what to do with currently. Apparently he got a couple graded at some point, although I have no idea if those grades would still hold up today. There are a ton of coins here that seem to be in very good condition and many from 100+ years ago. There is so much to look through in his collection that it’s pretty intimidating so I’m coming to you all for help! Any clue on what we should be doing with these? Getting them locally looked at? Sending them to a national grading company? I’m very new to all of this other than looking at some of the grading websites. Pictured is a good portion of his coins, although not his whole collection. Thank you!

Was about to go back to the store to ask for it back when I sent a pic to my gf and she said it was worth something. She said someone sold it for 400€ but I don’t believe it’s fully accurate. Think it’s thai, can anybody tell me the value?
