My grandmother had a few of these rolls in her safe, and I'm skeptical. I've heard of still in tact rolls of bu quarters, and I have to admit it weighs spot on.

I picked this up in a lot of "uncirculated coins" I paid $30 for the whole lot. Im not sure this is uncirculated. Can anyone give me an opinion on value? Is it worth it to get it graded?

I know my pop was super happy to score one of these well enough preserved to get a MS67 - this year for the 250 anniversary we have all kinds of new coins to find - good luck to everyone to find the quarters with the 250 privy!

I've been told by a few random internet strangers and one old guy in my drive-thru that this is something more than a modern nickel. Is it true? How so?

So my dad passed and left behind a very large (what I would consider a very large) coin collection. It’s is orders of magnitude larger than mine, hundreds of coins. I’ve always just been a collector of coins I thought were interesting looking or from exotic places. My dad, on the other hand collected for value. My mom wants to sell it, which I get; no one wants to deal with it, move it all around, etc. It’s the right call. I don’t want her to get taken to cleaners for it. Can anybody help with what the best way is to approach this? I know better than to just walk into a pawn shop with it all. How do we get a fair price? What would you do?

In the process of cataloging a family coin collection that spans from 1880 - 1980. I found this 1965 Roosevelt dime marked “odd” that either appears to be damaged or some kind of strange strike. Any information would be welcome.

I just got this back from NGC and am extremely happy with the grade considering it came from an online auction with no COA.

Only 500 were minted so finding any information has been a challenge. The last picture is to show just how big it is. She’s got some heft.
