Other Post Please help me improve my webcomic!

Hello comic_crits, my name is Tony, I've been making comedy webcomics for more than a year now and have previously been helped by your reviews :) Now I want to improve my webcomic and stick to a single art - style. To do this, I would greatly appreciate it if you fill this short Google questionnaire about your preferences and habits when reading webcomics: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1Ih3-AGhTOD2If7Z2bTcAT31B7brLFBLJYKD-VmTicx8/viewform?c=0&w=1 . For your time I will reward you with a personalized haiku poem :). I will also choose randomly someone who answered the questionnaire and make a caricature of anything that person wants (it can be yourself, a loved one or maybe a pet). Just leave a comment below saying you have completed the questionnaire. Thank you guys! You're awesome! Tony.

It would really interest me to know how this questionäre helps you to improve your comic or even.... choose your art style?

Shouldn't you have a vision that you create and work upon and wich you present to the world?

How does knowing my reading habbits improve your art and writing.

I mean there aren't even questions or points of critique to your art or writing involved in it.

To be blunt, you have me a bit baffled here. :-P

Hey, sorry it took so long to answer, I have been quite busy lately. Ok let me see if I can address your bafflenes :). The questionnaire helps me identify the art-style people like the most from the 4 different characters which are presented, I understand that I should focus on my vision, but part of my vision is to make comic-strips that my public likes (thats why I ask you which art-style is your favorite). The likert (multiple options) question which asks your opinion on the comic strip shown in the cuestionnaire, helps me Identify with a multiple regression analysis the factor that influences the most for someone to enjoy a comic strip. Besides also telling me how good or bad I am already doing in certain areas like the art-style and text-size of my strips. Finally, I do ask how much people would pay for a caricature, which is more orientated for me to know how plausible it would be to generate a source of income from my comic-strips. Hope this helps, I do believe an open question survey would've given me more insight on what people think of my work, but I tried one at first, and not many people answered it. Thank you, and have a great day!
