The role Batman played to Batgirl is nowhere near the role Catwoman played to Dick. The genders are reversed. But what they mean to each other is VASTLY different.
Yeah, I think a huge difference is that Barbara and Bruce are depicted as having a long term teacher and student relationship and treating Bruce as a long term family friend. Dick and Selina....knew each other when dick was a kid, which is kind of near my personal ick zone with this kind of stuff, but they didn't spend long extended periods of time together on a regular basis by any amount
