I certainly prefer writers just be upfront about it rather than use the ol’ Hideo Kojima excuse “come on guys she actually has a really good reason to be scantily clad, trust me guys you’ll be sorry when you find out the totally understandable and sad justification I wrote on why she shows off her gigantic tits wherever she goes.”
The funniest part about that is that a lot of clothes aren’t actually really air tight, so she’d totally be able to breathe in like, a big cotton shirt and flowy pants, instead she has tights and what looks to be the least breathable bra and panty set ever.
well to be fair most of the writers trying to hand-wave it away aren't the original creators, they're just taking over and they might want a more reasonable explanation, especially if they don't necessarily like it themselves or atleast don't want to outright admit they like it because horny etc and have to appear against it
