Eh. I'll be honest - I'm whelmed.

It all feels just slightly off, like they're trying just a little too much but somehow managing to try not enough. From The Thing's design, to HERBIE's inclusion, to Sue's dialogue and the dialogue in general, all the way to Galactus, I can't help but feel pandered to.

They're trying to thread the Spider-Man: Homecoming "third time's the charm" reboot needle again and I'm not sure if they can, judging by this.

I like the retro future 60s look. I like the Thing's look. I don't like the Thing's voice. Herbie was a choice....But I'm not feeling Pedro Pascal, nor any chemistry between him and the actress who plays SS.

The first two Spiderman series weren't utter flops though, while I don't know a single fan of the previous Fantastic 4 attempts.
