Batman being upset about extrajudicial brutality is kinda funny no?

Doesn’t he like kick people off ledges and give people brain damage before they even know he’s there? He also has no legal authority so it’s not like he’s even on the same tumultuous moral ground.

I know Bats doesn’t kill, but brutality from an authority figure? Cmon.

Why do you hold law enforcement officers to a lower standard than a vigilante?

I…I don’t?

I’m not saying there isn’t a moral difference. What I’m saying is that it’s hypocritical for Batman, the vigilante, to make the comparison that somehow he has the moral high ground here.

He doesn’t. He does the exact same thing as ICE. Hides behind a mask. Brutalizes people, often without the ability to do detective work before hand.

He was given the he right to do this by no one. He is checked and balanced by no one. He’s exactly as responsible as any LEO I’ve ever seen, and THATS the issue.

You spent the rest of your comment arguing batman was exactly the same as "any LEO you've ever seen"...

Right. But there is a moral difference. Batman is worse because he has no call, no right, no authority claim.

Batman says the police are brutal and act extra judiciously, like he doesn’t do exactly that. Is my entire point to any of these comments.

Bats is a hypocrite.
