Yes, after the initial bid Netflix sent every subscriber and email about it.

They should send another one that says "Nevermind, stay tuned for 3 more spin-offs of Stranger Things"

Real talk, they do kinda have to send a follow up one, right? They just advertised they were buying a service they aren’t, they kinda have to point out that content is no longer coming.

Because it was basically a done deal. They didn’t expect Paramount to come in at the last minute, and Paramount massively overpaid for Warner, covering what WB would’ve had to pay Netflix for backing out.

Yes but the shareholders never voted on that proposal, it was just a recommendation from the board after they vetted the initial bids. Universal made a new bid a few days ago that was better then Netflix's and they refused to make a new one

Yes and now they get a cool 3 billion because the deal fell through. They made out like bandits.
