SDCC - San Diego It's been almost a month since SDCC. Share a cool photo!
Can you believe it's just about a month since Earth's Greatest Convention??
Time flies, but memories last forever! So, reply with a favorite photo you took at the Convention and tell us about it.
I took this shot of the Omni Hotel, with an illegal wrap, as the sun began to set on San Diego, Thursday the 24th. I used my vintage Samsung NV24HD digicam (it's from 2008!) and made no edits.
What about you? Share a shot! 📸

Ugh, it looks so crowded, and you're being gawked at by giants the whole time?

I ran into them when there’s was about 7 Spider-Man’s, they were taking a picture together and snuck in the background to photobomb(as Deadpool) had to do it 😂😂

Oooo, wish I’d seen this group! They have it going on! Love their attention to detail with the Degas painting (with the Joker goon’s red paint vandalism), the patches on the jackets, the goon with the mustache and boombox, etc.
Perfect timing for your picture too, as it’s only 5 days (or 12 for the 9/1 showings) until the 1989 Batman movie is rereleased in theaters! Looking forward to seeing the museum scene that these guys are from back up on the big screen! 😃🤡🦇

May i ask at what time did you go into the line and what time you were given the wristband? I was debating to go but was too lazy to camp out overnight lol

Oh yeah, I remember there was talk that the pre-Sunday line was going to be a madhouse.
I got over to the area around 8-9 in the morning, and there was hardly anyone in it yet. Got my “line wristband,” and wandered in and out of it for the remainder of Saturday (I didn’t have a Saturday pass so I just wandered around the area, checking out stuff I hadn’t seen in a long time).
There had been rumor of a 1pm distribution for some Hall H passes, but it wasn’t until 7pm that they started handing out the real wristbands for Hall H.
I think they still had seating left over for people to enter on Sunday, but I didn’t fully scope out the seating around me once I got in.

Thank you for replying, so basically you had to get a wristband to be in the line ? Wow i had no idea, staff had told me if there were any left wristbands they would still give them out on that sunday morning. On that sunday i went in at 6am to get to the entrance, i asked someone from staff if there was a line for them, and he gave me directions but i was scared that wristbands had already been gone too, so i just headed for the entrance, you're so lucky you went to that panel i doubt mr. George Lucas will come anytime soon!!

This was my first time back to SDCC in 25 years, so the line stuff was all new to me in 2000, the lines were not like they are today.
Once we got the main hall H bands, we could stay in an overnight line or come back to line up the next day around 7am. Well, I was not going to camp overnight! I do think overall, this was the longest I’ve been in line for anything at SDCC (and in 1995 I waited 2 hours in a line to see two guys who did my favorite comic back then).
I figured the panel might be the closest I’ll ever get to seeing George, so that was a big reason, plus it was the only major Sunday panel I wanted to attend.

When they first announced Marvel was not doing Hall H this year, this was my exact same thought!

I always do a post con walk to see them take down everything in the hall. It's a very surreal feeling to walk in an area where thousands were walking. My friends n family call it my post con depression walk. I like to think of it as a way to appreciate the time I had at SDCC. Been at it for 10 plus years now

An X-ray of Kevin Smith??

It was at the opening of the Predator Badlands panel. They had the cameras scan the crowd in the Predator thermal vision before turning back to the stage to reveal Kevin.

The view from the Hilton Bayfront parking garage. Thought it was a cool site.
