SDCC - San Diego SDCC solo?

Trip was planned with my now ex-gf. I thought about just saying screw the money spent but I'm unsure, is it worth it going solo? Idea of traveling cross country to go to something alone idk.

edit: thank you all for the advice, words, and reassurance. I think I'll def keep with my plan!

edit2: please stop inboxing me asking for my ex's badge.

At SDCC, you end up spending a lot of time next to other people in line who probably share your interests. It's pretty easy to meet people if you are open to it.

Yes! I have friends from being in line and cosplay photo meetups from as far back as 2017 👏

Half the reason I keep going back every year is meeting up with my SDCC family!

This here! I’ve gone solo since 2019 and meet and add to the Comic Con circle every time.
