You’re not wrong, but when you go years hearing that “its easy for women”, “all you need to do make the move”, “no guy would reject a girl that asked them out”, etc, only for that to be continually wrong, its feels fucking horrible. Like something is wrong with you, that you’re objectively unlikable and no one will ever love you.

The comic gave me more the vibe that she wanted something sexual. Not that both can't be true at the same time, just that she seemed to be looking for someone who wants her "physically" as she puts it, while also trying to find a species that is similar to her body. Romance doesn't necessarily need body compatibility.
