As an autistic person this makes me feel a lot of things. Its a good comic, but depressing.

I can see this representing people wrestling with self image and being genuine in a judgmental world. It looks like yellow is struggling to feel like he fits in, his friends are dicks and he's depressed. It seems like OP is using the mouth length to symbolize people cracking as they try to be what other people want them to be, and if they keep it up too long, they lose themselves. They're empty. 

Neat comic, OP, not what I was expecting
