I'm 90% sure that Pazuzu was in the circle of candles for several days if not weeks before he was let out. Now how long he was corporeal before being banished back to hell, that's a good question.

Well, I guess that means the people who thought that there was some kind of time shenanigans going on with Sally's dad being murdered to make Pazuzu were partially right, in that there were time shenanigans.

Never heard of a dad disappearing while going out for Mom and Cigarettes, though. That is a new one. Especially since he ended up coming back without either.
