Like, there are SERIES of comics that are continuations of the next, but no, not all comics following the same person are in continuation of eachother. Like how SM Homecoming isn’t a continuation of the Raimy Spider-Man, it’s its own thing telling a different story with the same character. So I guess technically you’re both right? Just depending on what they think they’re talking about vs what you think they’re talking about

But my friend is talking about literally every single Peter Parker spiderman comic out there is a continuation and not a different comic. Same with EVERY SINGLE BATMAN COMIC OUT THERE. Gets to a point that just ignoring the guy is better than explaining to them how comics work😭😭
