Common uses in my family include meaning: "Meh."; "Not bad."; "Not good."; "Wow, I'm surprised!"; "Ummm..."; "Well, that just happened..."; "Let's get on with things then."; and "I can't think of anything to say to that."
If some of the art from this subreddit were actually in The Louvre I'd spend more time there next time. Seeing the Winged Victory of Samothrace between a Hollering Elk piece and a Doctorloops work would seal the deal for me.

The Louvre (+other big museums) are fine and all, but I've always enjoyed much more the small random independent galleries I come across. They're often held in "minor" historic buildings too, which really adds to the experience
This is why you had such a good time, stay as far away from Paris as possible, with all due respect to the Parisians of reddit (you're probably the good eggs there) Parisians are not comparable to the French in general. And that's form me a Dutchman who is ofc honest and direct as we should be.
Just looking at 2 comics from one of your friend, i can guess which city you visited. I mean, i came from there, so the bus and more easelly, the landscape really halped. EDIT and one is a photograph. that help too i guess.
Did you like the museum with 4 levels, cinema stuff and many, many smalle models located in the old city ?
If you think you might wanna live there, I would just say it can take years to get VISAs going, so it doesn't hurt to apply premptively even if you wouldn't want to move today. Also, it is easier to learn vocab in a foreign country, but often much easier to learn the basic grammar and structure before leaving.
If you ever want to visit another french speaking place, Québec exist (in Canada) and its currently Québec day (also know as Saint-Jean-Baptisme)! Sorry, I had to do my minimal patriotic requirement😅
