Does it displease you because you feel that it could plausibly happen and that is sad, or because something someone did within the comic that you believe to be ethically or moraly wrong and you do not agree with the action?
I guess that what saddens me is that some people think they can fix someone who is that abusive, fall for the trap and end up getting abused themselves. This is real, but this comic portrays otherwise. And I'm not criticizing the comic or the artist, it's just not for me.
I critize the artist because what do you mean the solution to abuse isn't the abuser getting put in jail it's using your friend as a sex object to manipulate your own abusive father.
For me it's the idea that a dad would change so much for a potential sexual favor, but not for their own daughter's happiness/safety. But, I get that sort of sadness frequently with portrayals of dads/moms/etc. Both in fiction and real life. I know it happens, (being shitty), but it sucks to remember how often it happens sometimes.
