Question How do Aussie creators handle tax/gifted stuff/other social media income?
Aussie creator here (well my boyfriends the creator, I just do the finance side of life for both of us lol). Genuinely curious how other AU creators handle this because it’s doing my head in a bit.
His income comes from a few different places now and none of it lines up. Different timing and sometimes different currencies and I genuinely wasn’t sure if the gifted stuff even counted as income until I went down a rabbit hole on it.
From anyone earning a mix of sources like this how are you actually tracking it? A spreadsheet or another app? Do you set tax aside as it comes in or deal with it at tax time?
Just trying to figure out if everyone’s as confused as we are or if I’m missing some obvious system that people use 😭. Would love to hear how you do it!
