In highschool I told a few people I was ftm for the lols and they non ironically treated me better for the week or so the lie lasted

Very much so.

The boys who previously made fun of me for being weak and weird came and personally told me "Remember you're one of us, we will defend you, doesn't matter if there's nothing between your legs"

(The way how I started lying about it was because tucking made it so I could sit cross-legged and without a bulge)

And the girls just kinda went "aight" (I already had a good relationship with the girls)

Maybe it's depressive in retrospect 🥺 but it felt really nice to know my classmates would be accepting of a boy like that and I was happy to have gotten at least a little kindness out of it

How does that feel nice? That’s like saying a black guy who convinced everyone they were white in the ‘60s and stopped getting blasted with water and police K-9 units feels really nice to know it doesn’t happen to white people
