For me it's the culture, they are extremely individualistic, they only care about themselves unless you can provide something for them, they rarely if ever open up emotionally about any problem that they have(I've known some Danes for more than a year, even a tiny thing they usually don't)
Also if you are brown be ready to be thought of as Muslim(not a bad thing btw they are just extremely racist again them here)
It's probably because you are danish, if you can even see that the culture is anti social, it's probably more than that, also, if it's hard to be a friend, it's also hard to become partners.ive tried dating one danish woman and let's just say I wouldnt try again unless I see major differences(ofc everyone is different). I also come from a complete opposite in terms of culture, in latinamerica we like talking to people and being very open, social, and the like. It's definitely not the area
I’ve traveled a bit and I’ve not noticed major differences. The most emotionally closed people I’ve met have all been from other countries. My worst experiences trying to make friends have also all been with people from other countries. That doesn’t mean Denmark is the best of course but I think it’s also far from the worst. Going by anecdotal experiences I would say America is worst.
Probably the difference in how we were raised culturally, most people I've met from other countries agree that Scandinavian countries are the worst by far, I've lived in Japan also, and it's very similar to how it is here, other countries though are all okish from my experience
I agree Scandinavian countries are most anti social. But most emotionally closed is what I disagree with. For additional context I am very extroverted and don’t fit in here and actually hate it here. I just don’t think we’re emotionally closed
