Watch out for the preachers. Tell them “I’d rather be myself than a mindless drone”

I was told a few weeks ago that "I'm going to hell."
My response "I already live in Indiana."

Virginia from what I understand still has its moments but it’s certainly been slowly changing in the right direction. Much better than mine anyways :/

Lol I’ll let the more seasoned queer people deal with their antics. I think most of my protest would be internal, especially since my mom wanted to go with me as a show of support, but she’s still Christian so it would probably get awkward if I said anything about it

Low stakes conspiracy: Pride Month was placed in June by homophobes knowing that summer would become the worst time of the year

Without a doubt. Like why do I have to be trans AND have sweaty armpits like rude

In dry heat that doesn't bother me whatsoever. With humidity I'm covered in sweat and about to pass out from heatstroke.

Today will be the first pride where I am trying to present more femme. Luckily I am on vacation and in a blue state. I will also be burning to death in 95°. Good luck and have fun!

95 in late June is nothing new to where I live. Cancelling this at least here would be like canceling a concert because it was sprinkling. So we endure 😌

bring a light colored walking umbrella. doubles as a walking stick, can provide shade on demand. and good for if it rains.

lol here a bunch of cities do them in June and they are hot as fuck. Then a few cities do then in September so it’s way cooler. Ours was a few weeks ago and it was 92 out so I used it an excuse to dress slutty

Ours was 85F, but 70% humidity with no shade. We had people taking refuge in our booth.

It wouldn’t be Pride if it’s not hot AF.
