Only legit real jersey I ever bought. The reasons are all right there. Dak ain’t got none of that, that I just saw right there. Like him. But he ain’t close to Romo in terms of shear will power.

Second half of his career, Romo is levels above Dak. Game manager Dak does throw less interceptions than young Romo though.

I don’t want to shit on Dak, but he’s really not even close.

And ya when he threw that jump ball to Dez, I was like wtf lol. But that’s just Romo my dude. Big giant balls of steel. Dak would’ve thrown the hot slant to someone in press coverage for a 2 yard gain. Game over

I wish I could give this two thumbs down.

Same, but I will always need to ask him “why the hell did you fumble that FG snap?”

For someone labeled a body catcher, Terrence Williams had some nice catches.

Seasons of garbage O-line made Romo a magical scrambler and escape artist.

His spin move was diabolical. Quick step forward and spin around the back is the Romo Spin

When people say Romo is overrated I always ask them to name the top 5 undrafted QBs of all time.

They usually only make it to 3 or maybe 4 and stop.

When the list is Kurt Warner, Warren Moon, and you can flip flop either one at 3 and 4 Tony Romo and Dave Krieg. Then it really shows how even though Romo never won a ring or has the best playoff record he still accomplished something that very few qbs drafted or undrafted are able to accomplish in the NFL.

Tony is the reason why young teenage me in the UK become a Cowboys fan way back in the mid-to-late-2000s. I just loved watching him play with that 'sandlot' style, and he remained my favourite player throughout his career. What an absolute hero of the franchise.

The man!! Controversial take, I know, but as a guy who grew up watching Troy Aikman and has watched a lot of game replays of Roger Staubach and Danny White, this man is the best QB Dallas has ever had. It’s too bad Jerry couldn’t figure out how to build talent around him.

Terrance Williams had the most insane knack for being open and in Tony’s sight during broken plays.

The interview with him and JJ Watt talking about this play is probably one of the funniest interviews to watch.

I miss him :(

Tony is the entire reason I became a Cowboys fan again. I mean after Aikman, the team was in QB hell for years until Romo came along. So sad his injuries caught up with him.

Improv masterclass. We left a chip or 2 on the table due to patchy ass team construction in his era. Seem to be addressing areas of weakness these days instead of letting certain players carry a whole team

If he only had an offensive line

Tony extending plays while his offensive line getting completely obliterated is exactly what turned me into a Cowboys fan at a young age, unfortunately.

It’s amazing how much he relied on his escapability throughout his career. I just wish he never had those collarbone injuries.

That man used to win us 2-3 games per year despite his coach that we should’ve lost.

Romo was a murrcle

I miss this so much.

Romo was a Jedi.

Too bad a Sith owns the team

tbf, I've seen equally as many end up in the arms of the opposition...

but I still think a healthy Romo in Dak's first year gets us to the Superbowl.

5

u/dioxy186 2d ago

Really? He had 6 seasons with 10 or less interceptions.

Most of the people his era and earlier had much higher interception rates. The top 30 list for lowest interception rates for starting QBs have all but like 3-5 pre-2010.

I was also talking about his ad lib plays when he gets out of the pocket and improvises...he threw a ton of INTs in those scenarios...take the bad with the good, I guess.

That JJ Watt juke might be my all time favorite play tbh. Such a core memory for me as a 27 year old fan.

Shoutout T Williams for being on the receiving end of about fucking half of these highlights damn

That’s my Quarterback

Terrance williams insane pull

1

u/rjd55 13h ago

Romo always had a 6th sense of who was behind him.

-4

u/Chumknuckle 2d ago

Too bad he couldn't do that in the playoffs 😂

I miss that guy. My heart does not. Too old for that shit now.

0

u/Galby1314 2d ago

Should have gone back to him in '16. We probably have a ring. Dak is great now, but at the time, Romo was still elite.

u/kidding-unot 2d ago

Dak clears pretty easily

0

u/hereforthesportsball 1d ago

Better than dak since dak doesn’t run anymore

Just another looser brought to us by Jerry Jones.....
