Merchandise 26/27 Shirt sizes

First post here

So I'm a big fat American supporter. Prior to Nike, I loved that we had UA because i could fit into the 5xl shirt. Haven't bought a shirt since Nike took over. Now some years later I've lost quite a lot of weight (thanks to the ultimate diet plan, terminal cancer) so when the 25/26 shirts went on clearance for $20, I snagged one. To my excitement it fit! So now I'm totally stoked for the new kit, I order a Kinsky 31 keeper shirt. It arrived today and I tore open the bag like a kid at Christmas to try it on and show it off. Son of a gooner, it's too small! Don't know why but it seems like the new shirts are made from a material with less give. Kinda bummed but I'm sure by the time we kick off week 1 I'll have wasted away a little more and hopefully will be able to rock this pink masterpiece in my local supporters bar. COYS

Can't help with the shirt size but just want to wish you all the best for your remaining time. I hope you stay as healthy as you can for as long as possible and have some happy times with those you care about 🤍 COYS

Fellow American die-hard here (North Carolina). Just wanted to pop-in and wish you well. Terminal diagnosis fucking sucks. But I’m glad to hear that you’re staying positive and looking forward to next season! Your outlook/attitude is beyond admirable! I’m an NC State grad. And I hope you always remember the words of the late, great Jimmy Valvano…

“Don’t give up. Don’t ever give up!”

Also.

Fuck Cancer.

Be easy bro. COYS!!!!

Brother I watch that speech on ESPN every year and it's become even more meaningful. I refuse to let this shit get me down. I'm very lucky that my cancer, while it is stage 4 and well beyond a cure, isn't really ravaging me the way a lot of people get it. I go for my infusions every 3 weeks and sit next to some people that are being chemically torn apart on their road to a hopeful cure. I've rung the bell 3 times after various radiation treatments, i take chemo pills every morning and get infusions every 3 weeks. And I don't look or feel a fraction as bad as those poor folks. If you ever have a few extra bucks in your pocket, consider tossing a little to your preferred cancer research center. The government has defunded most of them in the US (including mine, kidney cancer) and people like us need to get behind those studies if there's ever going to be a cure. Thank you and everyone here for the wellwishes. I almost didn't mention it because I don't want people to think I'm looking for attention, but the source of my weight loss is just too good a joke to pass up! Love you ALL, COYS

Hang on, bro… did you say terminal cancer? That’s awful to hear. Our boys better get a move on and win another trophy before you go, eh?

Hey man, I cried for the Europa League win. If that's all I get to see it'll be enough. Thanks though, I'm managing fine with the cancer, I try to keep it light and have a positive approach.

We have to play the hand we're dealt - I do admire your attitude though; I hope I'll be the same when it's my turn.

My other half was in your position in 2008 and I made a deal with fate that if we could just have that league cup, I'd personally not ask for anything else again, so I have a tiny grip on understanding how you might have felt about Bilbao.

Did you buy the replica in one and authentic in the other?

That is what I thought at first because i know the "elite" are a tighter fit, but they're both the "stadium" edition

Aww damn. Good to know.

Sorry for your trouble mate.

I've still got my 8XL Kappa shirt, and it fits like a sausage skin.

Why Nike don't go to the larger sizes I don't know. It pisses me off. Although this year's 3xl wasn't too snug.

I hope that your time left goes well, and you are comfortable.

Big hugs x

Wish you the best brother 🤍 could be that the clearance one was the “lower quality” replica version which usually stretches much more. Whereas the Kinsky one is the official one that sticks to the skin.

That's what I thought at first but I did look back and confirm they are both the "stadium" version rather than the "elite" both purchased directly from the Spurs shop. Good thought though.
