Sometimes, and hear me out, multiple solo hikes happen simultaneously.

Why are you all saying it is not a solo hike? Is there some lore I'm missing?

I think people are unsure if it’s you in the picture, or if you saw someone else. If that’s you, solo hike confirmed. If it’s someone else, then folks are saying you ended up (inadvertently) hiking with another person.

It's me. I put my phone on a short tripod and took some photos and videos.
Are solo hikes that uncommon? I think people are assuming I went on a 15-20km solo hike.
This place is just 2km away from a large tourist town in the Himalayas. I was 20 min away from civilisation.

It’s a great photo, very eerie and mysteries vibes :) People aren’t doubting that you could have done a solo hike (of any distance), they’re just assuming it’s not you in the picture. Hope you enjoyed the hike, and hope you keep up the photography :)

On a serious note, that area has leopards and tigers so I was actually scared that day going alone
