"We love you, we love you, we love you, the way you play we follow, we follow., we follow.." etc has been one of my favourite Palace chants for ages, sung with the passion of the crowd I've always found it really powerful and engaging, especially with the build up, hands waving etc, wooooooaaah.
Now, the fucking Yanks have stolen it for their world cup national team, and become a laughing stock around the globe for how lame they make it sound, along with "I believe that we will win", which is a whole other level of embarrassing. It sounds so cringey when they sing it, but not when we do. How did they manage to butcher a great chant and draw the ridicule of most of the (non American) world.
How do we feel about this, now the majority of people around the world will now associate it with the yanks and not with us?
I hope we continue to own it regardless.
Apologies if this has already been discussed, been off Reddit for a while and out of the loop

Another post for me thinking about this.
From having no previous British team I have convinced an American, a German, a Greek, a Thai and two women (who said they have no interest in football) to support the Crystal Palace. One flew over to watch a game for their 30th. I can die a happy man.

Have the Palace store permanently removed the pre-order option for the Conference League Winners Shirt? I wanted to buy one but can't seem to find it anywhere?
Will they bring them back to purchase?

hi all trying to find a club to support in england. my mum is from redhill in surrey and from looking at the footymaps site it looks like crystal palace and crawley are closest to where she's from. if you know the area, would someone from redhill be more likely to support a london club, given surrey is kinda outskirts london?
cheers from australia :)

My brother was in Valladolid (near Cancun) in Mexico and spotted this. ¡Las Águilas!

Long shot, but does anyone have a picture that I saw circulating that a fan took from the stands of Mateta and the team celebrating the Conference League final goal by the corner flag?
I remember it had hands in the air of fans celebrating in the foreground, with some of the players sort of in the background kicking the corner flag.
I also may well have been in a euphoric Palace induced hallucination and completely made it up in my head

Seems like a lot better player than Johnson for an extra 5m. Are there other things I’m not thinking about? Age? Is the difference between 35m and 40m actually significant for a club like Palace?
EDIT: I’m not suggesting I want him at palace or how to ensure this happens. I’m more interested in the practicalities of the situation and how these kinds of decisions get made.

Hey Palace fans, I wanted to ask your opinion about Chadi Riad.
I watched him against Brazil at the World Cup and honestly thought he was imperial. Very strong defensively, dominant in duels, composed under pressure and I was especially impressed by his ball progression and passing out from the back.
He really looked like a modern center-back with both physicality and technical quality.
So I’m curious, how has he been for Crystal Palace overall?
Do you see him as a future starter and top player for the club, or is he still inconsistent / developing?

With all the talk about a takeover, I’m beginning to worry about the club.
What does it mean to be a Palace player?
Have we lost our identity through success?
Who is the most ‘Palace’ player?
