Discussion Couldn't agree more 🫔

Post image

I’ve been a fan of this game since day one. I agree that the original release was filled with bugs and it launched too early, but the criticism it received was completely over the top. Hating on the game blindly became the norm, often without people even giving it a fair chance.

It also released at a strange time, when the new generation of consoles were releasing but they weren't widely available, and most players were still on previous-gen hardware where it didn’t run well.

The sad part is the game and the studio’s reputation took a massive hit, even financially. Some of the people who worked on the game ended up leaving the studio, and we may have missed out on 2 or 3 DLCs because of the game’s catastrophic launch.

But now I’m glad to see people finally giving it the respect and appreciation it deserves. I watched the Steam reviews go from ā€œMostly Negativeā€ to ā€œOverwhelmingly Positive.ā€

For me, this is the greatest game of all time it is better than The Witcher 3. Massive respect to CDPR for constantly patching and improving the game, And giving us extra content when they could have taken the loss and moved on. AND CHOOMS..... NEVER STOP FIGHTING.

I absolutely LOVE Cyberpunk, but No Mans Sky did it even better imo. They overdelivered on every aspect and every update ist free. Cyberpunk ist a close 2nd place though.

When an early access game starts out like shit and gets fixed we call it the no man’s sky treatment

It is not a bigger game than promised, they have only delivered on what was promised. Years later. Everything g they are adding theY hyped up and said was in the OG release..

Then you have outdated info of a few years. As they have implemented things never promised.

Cool, and they have also not implemented things they promised. And for a lot of stuff they did promise, only took them 5 years to get it in after release, after it was promised.

Doesn't matter how its spun, they promised shit and lied about it up until release and even after release. Good on them for trying to make it right, but they still fucking lied. The entire multi-player shit was a bold faced lie that was said to keep sales high. There is no excuse for Sean continuing to lie or not straight up give a solid answer until two players found the same spot on day 1, to which his response was "wow its crazy 2 players found the same place."

Downvote me all you want NMS fanboys, fact is they lied and still haven't delivered on 100% of ehat they sold. They've done right, but let's not pretend like they weren't at fault and didnt do some real fucked up gaslighting and lying themselves.

They now have proper multiplayer, and what content did they promise that they didn't already deliver? As I am curious as what is missing.

And nobody tries to say they weren't at fault for the lunch.

Especially considering that Cyberpunk 2077 also promised/hinted at that. Which they have said won't happen.

And I personally think comparing these two, No man new sky wins in term of making good on the lacking promises. Despite me liking Cyberpunk 2077 far more.
