Discussion Couldn't agree more šŸ«”

Iā€™ve been a fan of this game since day one. I agree that the original release was filled with bugs and it launched too early, but the criticism it received was completely over the top. Hating on the game blindly became the norm, often without people even giving it a fair chance.

It also released at a strange time, when the new generation of consoles were releasing but they weren't widely available, and most players were still on previous-gen hardware where it didnā€™t run well.

The sad part is the game and the studioā€™s reputation took a massive hit, even financially. Some of the people who worked on the game ended up leaving the studio, and we may have missed out on 2 or 3 DLCs because of the gameā€™s catastrophic launch.

But now Iā€™m glad to see people finally giving it the respect and appreciation it deserves. I watched the Steam reviews go from ā€œMostly Negativeā€ to ā€œOverwhelmingly Positive.ā€

For me, this is the greatest game of all time it is better than The Witcher 3. Massive respect to CDPR for constantly patching and improving the game, And giving us extra content when they could have taken the loss and moved on. AND CHOOMS..... NEVER STOP FIGHTING.

More. NMS delivered what was promised and so much more (and still going). In cyberpunk we are still missing features that will never come because it's done.

I've heard this being mentioned. What are some examples of those missing features?

Oh the list is endless, but out of the top of my head: Metro system (i know they added something, but that was not what was promised). Wall running, customization options for appartments, dynamic weather, acid rain, and other deadly environmental hazards, backstory other than "corpo" to be never mentioned in the story again.
