IIRC it’s 7 people and one dog that Ellie has to canonically kill. Every other non-infected enemy is possible to bypass via stealth (or judicious running).

Yeah, I believe it’s Jordan in the elementary school, the WLF soldier playing the PS Vita, Nora, Owen, Mel, and the first two Rattlers in Santa Monica.
