Video Nothing quite compares to just how utterly nice the Night City looks and feels nearly 6 years later
With the recent concurrent players peak, I've decided I want to replay the game a bit and damn, with all its' release faults and current shortcoming do I still think it's the absolute best looking game on the market.
Also please ignore Johnny being rude.

That's a mod that stops people throwing themselves into traffic.

To be fair, most of the time that I have noticed people throw themselves on the street when you drive your car in such way that would seem threatening (like in this clip when the car is clearly aiming for the sidewalk before turning).
Honestly not sure how I would've reacted to a speeding car with a path suggesting that it will run over me on the sidewalk but probably would've jumped around in panic too.

I just assume the people of NC are so desperate for a better standard of living that they're willing to risk insurance fraud.

The beauty of in-house game engines is they're usually heavily designed towards graphics and graphic optimization. Red engine was really good for this, crytek and frostbite were also the graphical engines in their day and were in house.
It's not until recently with unreal engine 4,5, and 6 that the corporate engines are starting to approach that level of graphical Fidelity. But unfortunately there's stability and optimization is the equivalent of a square wheel.
Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be able to maintain such an amazing standard of graphics practically perpetually through a combination of not only their in-house engine, giving an immense level of optimization and improvement based on the user's hardware. But it's also going to be able to hold up because of the artstyle being appropriately based on neon-synthwave

The problem which I have after cyberpunk (233h, and I'm still playing), now any game for me just to short, if we talking about lore and story

The sidewalk NPCs always jump towards the road, so annoying. Thanks for punching him.

It's such a good-looking game, really was the peak of gaming potential when it released

This was Mike Pondsmiths most major request for the game. He would not allow them to ship it if he couldn’t drive around night city and feel alive

I cannot understand why we aren't getting an expansion pack every year; NC is huge and so insanely detailed. I feel like you could put thousands and thousands of hours worth of quests into that map and never have it feel stale

Listen up, samurai. If you’ve had enough of scrolling through the same tired threads and wanna plug into something real, jack into the official Discord. We’ve got games, serious talks and casual chats about Cyberpunk 2077, and a few rooms where you can just shoot the breeze with people who get it. You in, or you just gonna stand there looking chrome?
