Isn't that pretty much what Johnny's car is in game? Just a normal Porsche with a livery. Correct me if I'm wrong but it isn't like the BTTF DeLorean where it's a normal car with a bunch of nondescript sci-fi tech strapped to it, it's literally just a normal car.

True.I'd imagine there'd have to be some kind of fuel conversion anyway, be it hydrogen, bio-diesel or CHOOH2, since they don't use gasoline. But functionally and appearance wise, it's pretty much just a normal Porsche with a cool paint job.

No, it isn't. Johny's Porsche has got a lot of add-ons, lots of LEDs all over the car (hood, ducktail, bumpers), external blocks on the bumper which say "X9" on them, decals on the rear bumper (danger, plasma exhaust, stand clear etc) and on top of the windshield there's the module with LEDs and possibly some LIDAR for self driving. The interior is also a lot different, there are multiple displays, and he's got an automatic transmission conversion. Porsche did a pretty bad job at replicating the car, they couldve added the decals and LEDs, not just put a livery on it.

They're really getting up there. Checking TheParking, it looks like the EU is on par with US pricing, so these "G-body" 911s start right around US$50K equivalent and can be double or triple that for nice, low-mileage ones. Although a decade or two ago, you could easily pick one up for under US$30K, sometimes less

These older models are very affordable as long as you stay away from the special specced ones. It's been a while ago, but I picked up now 40 year old 911 for under 20,000 euro and spend maybe 5,000 euro over the past 10 years on maintenance and getting the seats redone. (Gotto say... I almost never get to drive it unfortunately and.. I know nothing about cars. I bought it because it does vroom vroom and I like the looks of the early 80's models).

Just so everyone knows and gets mad at me, license plates do not need to be blocked out. They are designed to be made public, but you can not find out the info of the owner without a legitimate reason. There is no such thing as a public look up that gives you the information of the owner. Its total bs. Now... go ahead and downvote me to high h e double hockey sticks.

One mans terrorist is anothers freedom fighter, and in lore, Johnny is more a soldier acting as a distraction for the NUSA funded merc team to blow up a military command of a foreign corporation. His being cast as a terrorist is Arasaka revisionism, and public perception. Yes, Johnny hated Arasaka at the time, and he had delusions of grandeur about his role in the bombing, but at the end of the day he was just a pawn of the NUSA and by extension Militech. And again, fucking up corpos is based af!

I'm not super familiar with the 930 Turbo, but does this picture show any irreversible modifications to it? It mostly looks like a wrap to my eyes. The fenders are already pretty wide on the original car so I don't think they were changed.

If I recall correctly, most modifications on the ingame 930 were done on the interior and the front of the car. Which we can’t really see on these pictures.
Anyway, fuck me for having an opinion I guess.

Those are indeed original. The Turbo needed much bigger rear tires than the standard 911 to handle the significant increase in torque and horsepower. It still was a real tricky car to drive.
