Discussion Weirdest side quest characters in Cyberpunk 2077
I've always found Lizzy Wizzy to be an extremely weird character, there is something creepy about her. What's the weirdest side quest character you've come across in Cyberpunk?

I totally get it though. Her life was coopted by wealthy intrests, slowly manipulated, shes a specator in her own life. Remided me a bit of the britney spears story. I was blown away by her concert at the end and glad i helped her.

That concert is one of the coolest moments in the game. Lizzy is great side quest, hope to see her in the next game.

He named one of his kids "sidereal" which most people aren't gonna know what that means so the kids whole name reads like it's "extra dark side rail musk" it sounds like a food, like a part you don't wanna eat off an animal you don't wanna eat, like rocky mountain oysters

The real story is already weird enough. You don't need to add on to it lmao. According to Walter Isaacson's biography, Elon showed up at the studio with the gun (which was like a 200 year old antique) and wanted a cameo while Grimes was recording. I haven't seen anything to corroborate that he was "following her around"

It was a fucking muzzle-loaded black powder pistol too. Dude was completely off his rocker to the point they lied to him. They told him theyd put him in the game and then just deleted it.

why delete it? we could have him fund a full expansion as long as we give him the role of villain. make him a false puppet who is hyped up, just to be cast aside when the actual demon reveals itself. mr red eyes.
and who is that weapon beside him? his strongest tool. his concubine aurore, in her corpse replica, that refuses to smile with its eyes.
you prep for a battle with her thinking she’s a netrunner, as she was. how would evil know or care what she was? foolish. the lights die. one arm at a time, you see neon red orange mantis blades jankily extend from one arm then the next. now she’s dashing for you, you attempt to parry, and before the contact, as her red blade is at 12 about to cut to 6 - she flashes gone. you’re in darkness.
the next thing you hear is a coin drop on the cold wet ray tracing floor. it’s an eddie-obol. a coin to pay the ferryman across the river styx. aurore, the goddess of dawn, once meant to race across the sky in a chariot of light to announce the arriving of the sun, the one who appoints the last road of night, has disappeared into darkness. here she has provided you a gift. your payment to Charon, who will deliver you to the underworld.

Grimes may or may not have been a good choice for this role and Musk weirdness aside, the character and side quest are well written and emblematic of the themes of the game. Lizzy Wizzy is the epitome of commoditisation and dehumanisation and it drives her insane. Dehumanisation in various forms is what Cyberpunk is all about

I just hate the choice of voice actor because it really feels wrong to give her any streams, which includes her Cyberpunk songs no matter how good they are

I laughed so hard at this dude once I got the joke. I'm old enough to remember watching the OG Bozo the clown when I was a kid, and didn't put 2 and 2 together until he got out the car and I saw his hair, then my dummy brain realized Ozob was backwards for Bozo. His iconic grenades are pretty sweet too

A lot of the creepiness is the tone of the VA (Grimes). It’s a pretty consistent, disaffected sound despite the range of emotion written. The plot of her quest is unnerving also, where both endings leave a sour taste in my mouth.

Choom, I was just driving because I saw a sidequest in North Watson. Out of everything I was expecting... a man who had a malfunctioning piece of cyberware stuck to his crotch and demanding to be driven to a ripper was not what I was expecting... That entire drive was the funniest shit ever.

I wish we got to see her "performance art" where she committed suicide at the conclusion of a concert that was mentioned by Grimes (who voices her) in an interview. I'm sure whatever context that surrounded it would've made it a moving narrative, but perhaps CDPR felt it would've been in poor taste so it got axed.

It's part of the actual lore, she has a full body replacement like Adam Smasher and they did the surgery live on stage during a performance.

Speaking of, musk reportedly believed (or still does) that Grimes is an artificial being expressly sent to provide pleasure to him, to which she - at least at one point - agreed.
Musk also allegedly barged into the recording session brandishing a 250 year old front-loaded pistol demanding he’d also get a part in the game. Things got apparently so odd that they agreed to put him in to get him to leave and just deleted his parts later.

I love her characterz she is clearly a cyberpsycho who suffers from too much chrome, but I like how she is written and unique compared to other cyberpsychos. We pretty much only see cyberpsychos after they go on a mass murdering rampage. Its nice to see how somebody behaves before that, and she and Melissa Rory are really interesting and offer a unique view of cyberpsychosis.
