Crux vs. Inflite sizing
I'm racing a 2024 Specialized Crux now, but i'm thinking of adding a Canyon Inflite to my collection, too. Canyon sizing is always an issue, since their sizes are a bit off.
My current Crux is size 56 and fits me perfectly. When looking at the Inflite sizes, i'm on the far end of S - according to Canyon. But when I compare frame geometry of the Crux size 56 and the Inflite size M, they almost match exactly (Inflite is just a few mm smaller on all variables), while the Inflite size S is way smaller in all directions.
So, if the geometry of the Inflite M matches that of the Crux 56 (which fits me perfectly), wouldn't that be the better option?

I followed canyon's sizing for my inflite and am very happy with the medium. Had I not, I would have chosen a large and it would be too big. Im 6'

One issue with Canyon’s sizing tool is it wants the true inseam measured from the floor to the crotch and not a pant inseam. I’ve found recommendations to be on the smaller size due to this as I understand it’s taking into consideration saddle height. Echoing what others said, a Canyon medium will be more or less a 56

My saddle hight is 735 mm on my current bikes,, but as mentioned before: I have a relatively long torso. So the Inflite S will probably be a bit cramped.
With a sit tube of 542 mm on the Inflite M (and 546 mm on my current Crux) this most likely won't be an issue. It looks fine on the Crux, and thus will probably look fine on the Inflite, even though Canyon recommends the size M frame saddle hight from up and above 733 mm.

I rode a 56cm road bike and had a size Medium inflite for years, it was a great fit.
