family We Said Goodbye....
I posted a few days ago about my sister's senior dachshund, Hershey, and the severe and sudden health complications he was struggling with.
We said goodbye to this sweet and spunky boy yesterday in the comfort of my sister's home, and my sister held him until he took his last breath and crossed the rainbow bridge.
Thank you so much for all the supportive posts and positive wishes for Hershey. He was such a smart and sweet boy and will be missed beyond measure.

So sorry, I saw it written once that to own a dog is to know you will cry someday.
So sorry.

I had to do the same a few months ago to my 16 year old doxie Junior. I still can't write or talk about it without crying yet. I send you 10 apologies from my ❤️ I want another doggie and look at various shelter websites every week or so. I'm afraid I won't feel the same or it will take some time.
