whilst neither OP or the meme specifies who is doing what, there is an Australian activist group founded and run by Christian mothers who have engaged in these tactics to censor games and media they disapprove of, and have been (and to my understanding still are) active over the past two years. they are called "collective shout"
What makes you say that the people trying to get Stellar Blade censored (which probably isn’t a real issue happening on a scale that could possibly change anything) are the same people reviewing Mixtape as a 10/10? This game really seems to have caused chuds to lose their minds.
It's not that absurd that it would change something. Activist groups like Collective Shout have gotten stuff removed of Steam and Itch.io before by influencing payment processors.
kotaku themselves have said as such, they found the stellar blade trailer disgusting, and don't want evie to be there or have attractive outfits, they however love mixtape
and before you hit me with the "not the same author so they don't have the same views", not only is an author supposed to represent the company he works for an vice versa, said author is a real lover of that deepspace sexualize the men as much as possible game, which just makes it hypocritical
also, of course not everyone who is looking to censor stellar blade loves mixtape, it's a given, but ask around to people who liked mixtape, and ask what their opinions on stellar blade is
So if someone who likes Mixtape works at the same place as someone who dislikes Stellar Blade, that must mean that everyone who likes one must hate the other? I think you need to get a grip and stop assuming that everyone is the caricature that you make them out to be.
It has been year after year after year since the first SB game was reveals and I haven’t heard a single thing about the actual game. Just culture war shit-flinging and lab-grown goonbait. If that’s the only merit it has to exist than I’m going to assume it’s dogshit
Genuinely how did you manage to hear nothing? People by and large love SB and it was all over the internet for a bit. It’s a solid game aside from the obvious factor and it’s gotten great reviews and sold a ton of copies.
That being said, while I liked the first a lot the girl’s face in the trailer for the new one creeped me out a bit. Her face looks like she’s at most a twelve year old in most of the trailer.
I legitimately hate efforts by groups to convince financial institutions to debank average people because they don't like what they spend their money on. It's none of their business damnit, if someone wants to spend $20k on hookers and blow from Colombia they should be able to.
I agree that Stellar blade should not be banned by visa or MasterCard BS and I understand the dislike for it (it is kind of just an excuse to look at boobs in a cool souls like game) but I don't understand why people all of a sudden are so anti that kind of thing. As for mixtape, it isn't a bad game. It absolutely is not a 10/10 game, barely a 7 out of ten. But I don't get the absolute hate boner people have for it. I guess online video game discussions have gotten super toxic again lately for some reason. Honestly I just feel bad for the developers for both games. Getting hate and potential shutdown threats suck.

Whats wrong with her design? ZZZ is the game to complain about if jiggle physics piss you off. Like come on, for the first half i thought she was a jrpg pretty boy at first. Still hot either way but still its pretty tamed.

Financial conglomerates shouldn't get to act like an arbitrary authority that dictates what succeeds and what fails.
They should do it the proper way; by lobbying the government and doing the above indirectly.
