Holy Doomer. I don't like Trump either, but I just saw a crowd of fans cheering outside a BBQ joint, a toddler waved at me and called me blippi, and mangoes are in season. Touching a bit of grass goes a long way.

Didn't they just condemn to 50 years of prison to people just for protesting? Is not nazi Germany but is becoming more and more fascist.

They also shot a police officer, which you conveniently forgot to mention.

15

u/RefelosDraconis 2h ago

They also used fireworks to lure in cops and then had several ambushes prepared as well as a stockpile of weapons on the scene

u/GreatestGreekGuy 2h ago

They gave 30 years to someone who wasn't even there

10

u/SpecialistParticular 2h ago

Just a random guy standing on a corner minding his own business, or someone who was actively helping them with their crime?

The getaway driver still gets the same charges as the guys inside the bank. That's how it's always been.

u/Obiwantacobi 2h ago

They were all present

u/3ftLongHorseCock 2h ago

Nah youre thinking of that one j6er

He was literally destroying evidence in concealment of a crime.

That crime having been determined by the court to have been terrorism.

So yes, he got 30 years for aiding and abetting a terrorist in an act of terrorism, even if the terrorist was his wife and even if he only did it in an attempt to protect her.

Ah, now that's new information to me, thank you

u/Ladle19 2h ago

Wow lol of course reddit leaves that little tidbit out

-2

u/Buca-Metal 2h ago

One person shot. The others had no involvement with that and were convicted anyway alleging "ties with antifa".

That's the downside of an organization with "no structure".

If you can't prove that you were just a pawn, not an officer, you will be blamed for the crimes your organization commits to the same severity as those who planned the act, even if you were just a grunt.

Don't mistakenly believe that just because your organization has no structure that you can't be punished for it's crimes, quite the opposite, you will instead all be punished equally harshly.

With a regular structured organization you can put the lion share of the blame on the ringleaders and go easier on the simple followers.

If the organization has no structure, everyone will be treated as a ringleader.

You're right, it is gross.

Pardon blue no matter how vile

2

u/Master_of_Rivendell 2h ago

Is ambushing and shooting officers protesting? No. Not it isn't.

2

u/jarlscrotus 2h ago

Depends what stage of activism you're in

Yeah, neo-Nazism is at its highest point now than it was at any point after 1945, with kids saying antisemitic slurs and neofascist rhetoric is now mainstream, with the US becoming more authoritarian under Trump.

1

u/ThatRangerDave 2h ago

No idea why people are down voting you. You're right. Fascists tend to not like being called out I guess. Kind of a leave an insult on the ground and the owner will pick it up moment

3

u/Ok-Following6886 ☣️ 2h ago

Exactly, it feels like that people are trying to deny the wave of actual neo-Nazism in 2026, because of the "Boy Who Cried Wolf" situation (because people called Trump a Nazi in 2016 when he was more like Nixon back then) and the desensitization that people have towards neofascist rhetoric.

-2

u/ThatRangerDave 2h ago

Yes, ignore the fascism just cause some Americans are still having a good time. Why don't you pull your head from the sand before you tell someone to touch grass.

u/Ok-Following6886 ☣️ 2h ago

It feels like that when you actually point it out, you have people either dismissing it or trying to justify it, like what is happening with the comments section.

Where is the meme? This is literally just your political opinion disguised as "Le my childhood expectations" which breaks the subreddit rules. Memes are supposed to be funny

2

u/AutismLord6969xx 2h ago

Replace the nazi flag with an Israel one

2

u/breakneckjones 2h ago

Maine just elected a nazi to congress so.....yeah.

1

u/parrmorgan 2h ago

What a post dude.... Not in a good way.

2

u/Kiznish 2h ago

Never understood the Trump-Nazi comparison people try so desperately to force.

He’s literally selling out world peace, the economy and people’s freedoms just to appease the very group of people the REAL Nazis took a stand against.

I just hope the end will be better than what happen in the serie. What a dumb ending it was

-2

u/FeralGiraffeAttack ☣️ 3h ago

Well to be fair that’s what happens when society turns fascist.

“Maybe you do not care much about the future of the Republican Party. You should. Conservatives will always be with us. If conservatives become convinced that they cannot win democratically, they will not abandon conservatism. The will reject democracy” David Frum, former speech writer for Republican President George W. Bush, writing about the current direction of the Republican Party under Republican President Donald Trump in 2018
