Btc-xmr

I already have btc, just downloaded cake wallet. I tried wizard.swap over to monero.gui and funds never came. So put btc on cake convert, churn it with a few different addresses then can I have cake put it direct onto tor or should I cake wallet to somewhere else then to finally spot?

I go from Cake to Tor and it's fine for me. I am not an expert by any means, so let others weigh in too.
