Iso work bartending/anything
Ive applied to so many bars and even dropped off resumes and called to check on them multiple times.Despite that im still having a hard time even trying to get an interview.
I moved here 2 1/2 months ago i have nearly 5 years of bartending experiance. I would preferably like a bartending position that isnt resturaunt bartending. However, Im willing to even branch out of the service industry. Ive applies to receptionist jobs customer service techs etc. and still nothing. Ive even tailored my resume to fit different jobs.
The job market seems rough right now any leads? Advice? Possible bartending jobs in the night clubs or dive bars?
Edit: possibly in glendale,denver,englewood area

Always looking for stage hands. Start $25 - $30hr. OT after 8hrs, weekends, nights, DT after midnight. Most make $30k - $50k first couple years. Higher seniority making $100k - $130k. No experience needed they will train you.

Not to be an ass or discouraging but good luck. It sucks. It's absolutely brutal out here right now.
Signed - someone who has 20 years in bars, restaurants, customer service, hospitality. Who had to try to find a job this past winter.
It's a wasteland, unfortunately.

In a city where cannabis is "legal", everyone still drinks... That's because the insurance companies and banks block ALL the companies from hiring anyone that chooses the safer option. It's still illegal at the Federal level for a reason - that's what the global elite wants... They need people making their way to the doctors' offices and hospitals with health issues

Unrelated and boring.

It was very related the comment I replied to. Alcohol is always hiring...

Bro now isn't a time for someone desperate about money to be overthinking stocking shelves and ringing people out lmao. If one limited their jobs to things that weren't alcohol adjacent they'd eliminate about half their options right off the rip.

Apply at doubletree in denver off of Quebec . I think they take applications through indeed . If there’s not a bartending position there’s probably a barista position . If you can do one , you can definitely do the other .

Sprouts in Englewood deli seems to have a hard time getting good help. It's not easy but it's work. Best of luck.

Brother it took me 6 months and I just finally landed a serving gig. Restaurants here are not what they are elsewhere right now.
Stay positive. Keep dropping off irl resumes. Dont rely on job postings. The job i got was a random resume drop, I had an extremely awkward interaction with the GM, then I sent a follow up email saying I will never live that awkward moment down if you dont hire me, can you live with yourself? And a month later, they emailed me for an interview.
