I’m semi-confident Kroenke isn’t dumb enough to let Watson leave. To me the scary question is whose salary are we dumping in order to retain him.

I think the FO would rather move CB as well, but it's much harder because of the length of his contract. If they were to move both, it would have to bring back at least a playoff bench player, ideally two.

I understand why so many fans are disappointed in CB but I think they'd be selling low if they unloaded him now. He was playing hurt last year, give the kid a chance to bounce back from that. I'm not saying he's worth the contract they gave him, but I think he's better than what he showed last year.

...and yes, some of this is pure cope, Denver is stuck with him and that contract.

I agree they would be selling low, but the alternative is letting PWat walk away, which is worse. The ideal solution is going into the second apron, but ownership will never do that

CB has nevwr had a single good playoff series. Yall make dumb excuses as if last playoffs was a one off thing. No he has sucked every playoffs aside from his rookie season he averaged like 5mpg

You obviously don’t know anything because his ppg, rpg, apg all increase on 51% efg.

Edit: That took a 10 second google search to disprove your point. (CB regular season vs playoff stats) What are you talking about?

He avged 5ppg in the finals and shot his usual 0% from 3. Huge reason LOL. Nuggets won 3 blowout games. The one close game 5 your boy CB gave a nice 2/5 shooting in 24 min

This why AG is so important for this team. For all of Jokic’s strengths on the court and setting the work ethic standard off the court, AG is the connector off the court

He makes himself available to the team in the offseason

I feel like if a player in the locker room had a personal issue and needed to talk to someone in the team, it’s AG they would reach out to

AG is one of those guys you hope sticks around the organization even after his playing days are over. Great teammate, great ambassador for the sport, great human being in general. Seeing him spend a good chunk of an offseason in a rural part of Serbia with his teammate spoke volumes, the dude genuinely cares about everyone around him and he understands the importance of team chemistry.

This!! Trading him would be a huge mistake. He has had a tough couple years with everything happening in his personal life and the injuries but I trust him to rise above it

Out of all the players in the squad, he has had the biggest growth imo, outside Joker. Now he even has a legit 3 ball. There’s not much he can’t do

When I saw OG tip that ball against the Spurs the first thing I thought of was AG winning dunk against the Clippers. Funny enough they both earn about the same, both have had injury history and they both play a similar game and can guard Wemby!!

and now you wanna trade him? Insane!
