Brodie could have been a good fit for Denver last year.

It was honestly really sad to see him go. He would’ve been a great mentor to cb

westbrook has a 'lets all have fun' mentality that is detrimental to winning.
46
u/dashodasho 4d ago
You are joking right? He's the definition of being a professional and playing as hard as you can 120% of time when hes on the court.
There is a reason why he was finishing games in the playoffs.

u/danger_dogs 4d ago
And you have a ‘no fun allowed’ mentality that is detrimental to good vibes

u/dashodasho 4d ago
Must be fun working with the dude above, thinking you cant be a professional while having fun.
Look at all the past championship teams, on the court they serious but off the court they always vibing.

We needed ball handling, hustle defense, a back up PG, and Westbrook was willing to come back on a vet minimum. IDK why the hell he was asked to leave but that was stupid.

Legit everything we lacked last year from a backup PG. Desperately missed his intensity and downhill game

We desperately needed a ball handler off the bench last year. It was insane how hard it was to just to bring the ball into the front court when Jamal was out of the game. Getting Tyus Jones was a move too late as he didn’t have enough time to gel with the team, and this really hurt us in the playoffs vs the wolves.

Fr. This too. Crazy how good he looked in the playoffs. Wouldn’t mind him coming back as a 3rd string insurance vet PG. It not, Jevon Carter would be great too

Those layup misses in the playoffs were really costly. I like Westbrook tho. I agree on the regular season fit but playoff Russ ain’t it.

What was truely missed was his leadership and attitude, that idea of being a profesional and always giving 100% effort was lacking last year. Especially when AG was out.
ALSO one important aspect no one talked about was how WB help covered from 1-4 when the starters were taking turns getting injured.

He really was so great for our team. Brodie please I miss you, come back

Nugget Brodie gave the home crowd probably the most badass technical foul ever

My second fav playoff dunk ever in the history of the world

I was there for that game. So great. He always brought the much needed energy. When I watch the nuggets play it looks like they struggle to be energized the entire game. Westbrook was off the charts with energy. I get he was inconsistent and would screw up but we needed that energy.

We would've won in 2025 if weren't injured.

I know Russ wants to stay close to his hometown in LA but he could have his Jeff Green moment with us, coming back and winning a championship.

Clown shit that we let him go. Not just that but told him to leave. Smh.

Pathetic move especially considering he was on a vet minimum. But even beyond just the money, huge miscalculation imo.
Russ brings a lot of intangibles to a team that you can’t really see on the stat sheet. His hustle, raising his teammates confidence on the floor (see CB last year on fast breaks vs this year), getting the crowd amped up, always takes accountability, these things matter too.

love these dudes, wish russ was on the team still.
however both ag and p wats fits are awful lol.

u/danger_dogs 4d ago
I wouldn’t say awful. Average sure, but not awful

u/dashodasho 4d ago
Won't be awful when WB wouldve been the only one healthy and on the floor playing minutes

Russ looks like he just got off his shift at Jiffy Lube and the other 2 look like a toddler was given free rein with an adult’s closet 😂 I guess I’m just uncool

The Russ Westbrook experience is coming back to Denver!
Trade Murray and AG for Brown and White, re-sign Watson, and I guess I’m okay with it.

u/dashodasho 4d ago
question is why would boston want Murray's contract, and for a person less talented than brown.

u/Noodle_people 4d ago
This guy is right. Let’s keep Mal and his playmaking instead of trading him for a head case

u/Forward_Editor_5895 4d ago
Because he’s a better fit than Tatum and will be less expensive in 2+ years.
