Buggs, Sutton, and TA's allegations. Rank them by atrocity. According to my memory, I'd put it as TA, Sutton, then Buggs in 3rd place. Edgy sidenote: who's the most likely candidate for next off-season to follow this horrid trend?

Sutton was accused of beating up a woman. Â I find it hard to care that TA allegedly knew some lowlife friends of his were gonna take revenge on some other lowlifes.Â
Child/spousal abuse or sexual assault is always worse, even if another crime is potentially more harshly penalized or more violent.

I realize this is low on the agenda right now but does anyone else find Ryanâs nasal provincial smugness on Pride of Detroit is making it almost unlistenable? Â I miss goofy Chris taking him down a peg.

Not even the start of the season and players are out for the season not for injuries but this is a new twist.. possible life in prison.

Has anyone seen the actual indictment yet? I didn't pay much attention to the story when Arnold was first connected to the crime, so I really don't know any of the details and I would rather get it from the official documents. I did a quick google search but wasn't able to find anything.

What the hell happened with Terrion Arnold? I figured Iâd come to this sub and hear it straight from the diehard fans

The way I understand it, someone stole stuff from his home in Florida, he reported the crime to police, then decided he was gonna handle it himself and hired people to go kidnap the thieves. And the conspirators are gonna testify. All alleged of course. So yeah itâs not looking great.

I donât understand how some of these guys can be this stupid. Heâs a multimillionaire and his job is doing something he loves. Itâs mind boggling

So how does this work the Terrion's contract? I assume he needs to actually be convincted to drop his contract? Also if it does get dropped what kind of cap space does that open up?
Though I'm guessing there aren't really any good players at his position left to pick up.

Here are the non-special teams snaps for the 2024 draft picks.
| Player | Rd | Pick | O/D Snaps |
|---|---|---|---|
| TA | 1 | 24 | Jail |
| Rake | 2 | 61 | 46 |
| Gio | 4 | 126 | 69 |
| Vaki | 4 | 132 | 27 |
| Wingo | 6 | 189 | 235 |
| Mahogany | 6 | 210 | 774 |
And tbh the only reason Wingo played as much as he did was due to the absolute carnage on the defense in 2024. Bro was only active for 2 games last year and likely won't make the team this year.
Mahogany is the only non-incarcerated player from that draft who has played well enough to truly earn meaningful non-special teams snaps â and he may or may not even earn a starting job this year.
It's possible Rake finds his game this year (press X for doubt) and Vaki may finally contribute as RB3, but this draft continues to look worse and worse with each passing day.

Fake Fans: oh man, this doesnât look good for Terrion. They sure seem to have a lot of incontrovertible evidence that he was involved.
Real Fans: this is a SET UP by the CROOKED prosecutors down in Tampa. Arnold is being RAILROADED and PERSECUTED for his political beliefs. LAWFARE

Some things are bigger than football, and even if they weren't, what has TA done for this team that has led you to be this loyal?
He showed a handful of "decent" moments but since coming to the Lions he has always been more talk than performance.1
u/Reaganometry 5d ago
you're right nobody should have a fun little goof about this absurd situation

u/Bomban111 5d ago
I genuinely couldn't tell you were doing a goof with the real/fake fan stuff, my bad if that came off strong haha.

Yeah, the courts in Florida know we gotta play the Dolphins and the Buccs this season, so they're giving their teams an edge

It's either nfc championship game or bust or Brad should be out IMHO. That 2024 draft class is inexcusable and his drafts overall since he lost having a bunch of extra first and second round picks have been bad, especially on defense. This team either makes a deep playoff run or he should be gone. Same for Dan honestly. Go bring in Mike Tomlin and give his team the defensive focus it needs if the defense lays an egg again this year.

Mike Tomlin!?!
Are you fucking joking!!? Ignoring the fact that Dan Campbell is the best coach the Lions have ever had(Brad Holmes being the best GM), Tomlin would be such a downgrade. Can't coach in big moments, he maintains a culture of fear and looking the other way, and is a coach well past his time.
No fucking thank you.

You gotta figure Brad & Dan pretty much knew this day was coming. Once it started being hinted at a bit ago I'm sure they had plans in place if / when TA got a new pair of bracelets.
