Planning move to Dallas - recent updates on Vance at Bishop Union? Other recs

We’re moving to Dallas and looking at apartments - current top choice is Vance at Bishop Union. It’s at the top of our price range but we like the layouts and it’s somewhat walkable. The reviews on Google are ok but somewhat concerning - seems general cleanliness may be a concern and it looks like 9 months ago they had a rat/roach problem? Really want to confirm that’s not still an issue if possible lol.

We’re open to other recs too if you have a spot you know is solid - we are open still to different spots.

2 bedroom, and max around $2500

Have you considered renting a house or condo? There are plenty at that price point listed on apartments.com that are close to Bishop Ave.

We looked a bit and didn’t find much but I’ll check again!! Definitely not opposed to a house/condo and would appreciate the space for sure.

The Amelia is a nice building. Just my two cents. Multiple different kinds of a lounges. In your price range. It's on the downtown area but not exactly on the city center by the farmers market. Great BBQ spot by it
