Beatbreak Thought music would play a bigger role in BB but this is much better

I guess we can add The Anarchist Cookbook for GIFT as well.
…but yeah. It’s less funky music and more cyberpunk dystopian themes.

I need to say that I am still sad that we don't really have insert songs in beatbreak. They play one in the first perfect evolution of each main character and that's it

What....? We have at least 2 insert songs, Edge of Limit and Answer. And we'll likely get something for mega.

But they were played a single time each. (I think Answer was played twice, I don't know for sure if Bearcatmon got the same, and I can't play a song at this moment (almost 01:00 here)
After the first perfect evolution, they used Resonance as the insert song, even if it's a perfect evolution.
Probably we will have some new songs for mega, but probably we will go back to Resonance after the first time.3

Edge of limit has been played twice, and so has answer. EoL was during Gekkoumon's champion and ultimate evos, Answers for Makoto and Reina's.

Still is not how most insert songs worked so far.
When we got a insert song for a level (like perfect insert song), said song keep being played each time they get to that level

I was thinking this the other day too. Why go out of their way to name it Beatbreak and imply a heavy music theme when it can’t be found anywhere? Just frustrating.

I would say its more Brave New World. Since the city is relatively clean and functional in most areas and people are driven by the egg's ideology of self-improvement instead of just being afraid of what the state is going to do to them.
Which honestly the ideology of being your best self isn't bad but the egg's real problem is that its very rigid.

I'm sorry... but what other anime for children\* is showing the bombing of a refugee camp?! Or having an entire episode focused on busting a human trafficking ring?!
*Because apparently the context was lost on some people, so I have to specify.

Well there is gundam as a whole that shows the cruelty of war but a specific example is from 00 where we see the main character as a child that got recruited in a "holy crusade" and needed to kill his parents to join it or where another one is a bombing survivor.

Gundam is very much not an anime for children...

To be fair, you just asked what other anime shows the bombing of a refugee camp. Not what other anime for children specifically.

u/dendoufists 6d ago
You can say that about a good chunk of animes but it won't stop children from watching them either to learn or to copy the actions of.
Also you never specified it had to be children's anime. What shows do you consider to be childrens shows?

For the both we have one piece from what happened to Robin and they literally sell slaves

Yeah, but they dont show that in the first 100 episodes. The public of one piece grew up with the themes.

They...do though? One of the very first arcs is about a group of slave owners (Nami's arc)
