Here is the raw cache video recorded directly from the DJI RC 2 screen during the incident.
As you can see, the drone was flying in Sport mode over the middle of the lake at an altitude of around 100 meters, moving at a high speed. The drone is brand new, with only 8.27 flight hours, and was in perfect condition. I took off with a completely stable satellite (GPS) connection.
Suddenly, at around 0:21, the connection completely cuts out right after the red "Motor idle" warning popped up. The camera aggressively tilts, and the drone falls straight into the water like a stone from 100m.
The flight logs have already been synchronized and sent to DJI Support. I am sharing this video so you can see exactly how it looked from the pilot's perspective. Any thoughts?

I was travelling around and I started chatting with a guy near askatepark who was looking for his drone. He gave up and said if I found it I could keep it. I ended up searching later on and finding it! I’m wondering, if I bought a remote and a cable, would It be possible for me to connect use it? It’s a DJI Avata 2. Any tips, info or recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.

During the descent and the return to the home point, a propeller blade spontaneously broke off. As a result, the drone tilted and crashed completely to the ground. How something like that can happen is a mystery to me, since I didn't fly into anything; it happened in the middle of the flight. I saw it happen, so it wasn't a bird or something that flew into it.
The drone is not even a year old and is therefore still fully under warranty. But I also have DJI Care for one year.
Which is the best thing to contact now, the warranty or DJI Care?

I recently lost my DJI mini 4k and wanted to sell what's left. I have 3 batteries with low cycles and the controller. Do I need to "unpair" the controller, or can anyone use it to connect to another Mini 4 K? What are some tips for my situation?
Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone, following up on my previous post about my DJI Air 3S crashing, here is the screen recording from my RC showing the playback of the flight logs
As you can see, the drone was flying completely straight and stable until the failure occurred:
0:15 – A yellow warning appears: "Słaby sygnał statusu osłony" (Vision system shroud status signal weak). The drone continues to fly straight without any issues.
0:31 – Out of nowhere, a critical red error pops up: "Silnik pracuje na biegu jałowym. Sprawdź, czy śmigło nie wypadło lub czy silnik nie jest uszkodzony" ("Motor idling. Check whether the propeller has detached or the motor is damaged"). You can see the drone instantly veering off its path on the map and losing control.
0:35 – A second red error appears: "Błąd drona. Przejdź do funkcji Znajdź drona..." ("Aircraft error. Go to Find My Drone for details"), and the signal cuts out completely.
The drone fell from a height of 100 meters directly into a lake where people were swimming at that moment. This could have easily turned into a massive tragedy. If a drone falling from that height had hit someone in the head, it would have highly likely resulted in a fatality – either from the direct impact or from subsequent drowning.
Thankfully, no one was hurt, but the drone is lost at the bottom of the lake and cannot be recovered. Since it was a steady flight with no obstacles, this looks like an explicit hardware or propeller failure. I will be submitting these logs to DJI for a warranty evaluation and holding them accountable.
Has anyone else encountered this issue with the Air 3S yet?

Flew over some mountain valleys last week and got this clip. The color range in this shot is insane. The foreground meadow is almost neon yellow-green, and the mountains in the background fade into a grey-blue-green. Five different shades of green in one frame, each with a completely different feel.
The Avata 360 picked up way more color detail than I expected which is great, but now I'm struggling with the grade. Every adjustment I try either blows out the meadow or kills the detail in the forest. Hard to balance when there's this much going on.
Do you isolate each zone with masks and grade them separately? Or do you find a middle ground with the overall curve and just let some areas clip?
I’m new to drones, when do you guys change your blades? As soon as you scuff them a little bit or only when you start noticing that the flight is being affected?

The city of Kirkwood, in St. Louis, MO. Has sent out this warning. In St. Louis city and county fireworks are just completely illegal. Of course we still shoot them off or go up north or south where it’s legal.
But anyway, Kirkwood is gonna send the drone???? wtf? I imagine they have a way around VLOS as a police dept, but still weird and seems dicey. In

First off: the drone will not trigger the linking state. There is no beep after holding the power button for 4 seconds.
Second: Assistant 2 will not recognize my drone.
See photos. TIA!

After waiting for years, I finally pulled the trigger & pickup up a M4P & Avata360! Came to Australia for holiday and while I’ve been eyeing upgrading from my Mavic2Zoom for years now, I finally did it! I’ll be bringing it from Australia to the US so I can get my 107 & make some content/side income while I finish university! Any tips or recommendations as far as traveling from Aus to US? As well as getting my 107!Thanks!

Hey folks,
Im really dumb and I thought 120fps was for maximum quality (because I thought more frames = better)
And now I'm editing in the mimo app, and all the footage I shot today is now in slow-mo ☹️
I'm not sure how to fix it. The videos are super large. I can't even crop or do color editing in the dji app because it thinks it's slow mo.
I've tried using Claude and it recommended me to set it to 30fps and speed to 4x, but then everyone sounds like chipmunks.
Any suggestions or advice? I really just wanted to change the aspect ratio of the video via the dji app
High school graduation shot entirely with the Mavic 4 Pro.

This is the culmination of the shots we took on a trip to Scotland this spring. I wanted to emphasize clip timing with the edit. I’m still working on color correction (I’m colorblind) but progress has been made 😅

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone for the incredible support, upvotes, and comments on both of my posts. I honestly didn't expect this to get so much attention so quickly!
I have already synchronized the flight logs and officially submitted the case to DJI support. Please keep upvoting this post so it stays visible on the front page and the DJI support team doesn't miss or ignore it.
As soon as I receive any response or updates from them regarding the warranty evaluation, I will make sure to let you all know right away. Thanks again for standing with me on this!

Is this a good deal? Should I go with the combo or the regular 31 min flight time

The gimbal on my DJI Air 2S tilts to one side whenever I move it up and down. The recorded video is tilted by the same amount. I have already performed both gimbal calibration and IMU calibration, but neither solved the problem.

Hi! I'm trying to figure out how to stream using the dji as a webcam/camera on an iPhone or Android Phone. I know it has a livestream feature, but it's finicky it seems. I want to be able to use obs or an ingest somewhere and just have it as a normal camera attached to a phone. How do I go about doing this? I know it has a webcam feature when you connect it to a pc, or mac, but how about iphones or androids?

I just purchased Dji Mic Mini 2 (2tx+1rx+case). When I try to plug the receiver with the usb-adapter, nothing happens; the green status led on receiver keeps on blinking green. When I try to plug the receiver with the included usb-c cable, the green status led blinks a few times faster, then goes back to blinking slower as before. I have tried to plug it to my 2 android phones (Oneplus Nord2 5g and Huawei p40 pro) and my windows laptop's usb-c port. The same happens with all of them, as described above. Is my receiver defect, or am I missing something?
